We earlier reported that the candle light procession for late legendary music producer, OJB Jezereel . will be taking place by 5pm today. Photos from the procession has emerged and like expected, it was a large turn out. Veteran rapper,  Ruggedman, w ho is currently part of the candlelight procession taking place in honour of late music producer, OJB Jezereel, has penned an emotional tribute in his honor. He wrote: I am confused at what to say right now. Ojb today July 4 was the day you were born. I would have loved to say happy birthday, but instead of planning to come celebrate with you, we are busy planning for your funeral. It is one of those curve balls life throws at you We just have to keep on living and appreciate the fact that God has kept us till today. Ojb, I was honoured to have met you. You blessed me with your friendship and production skills that added great value to my life and career. I will forever be grateful. I will forever celebrate you. You gave the Nigerian music industry countless, unforgettable hits. I am happy you made a mark and that will never be forgotten. May your soul rest Babatunde “OJB Jezreel” Okungbowa. OJB, was born on July 4th, 1966.

Yesterday, July 4th, was the candlelight procession for late veteran music producer, OJB Jezereel. We brought you a couple of first photos from the procession, which saw the likes of rapper, Ruggedman, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Wizkid’s manager, Sunday Are, amongst several notable figures. Legendary music producer, OJB Jezereel,  who died a few weeks back, will have a candle light procession in his honor, take place today. The ‘Pretete’ crooner, would have also turned 50, today, July 4, 2016, if death had not snatched him from us all on June 14th. The candle light procession will commence at his  Surulere residence by 5pm today. See his burial details below… Candle Light Procession Monday July 4, 2016 5pm. Kick off point; OJB’s house, #4, Gbaja street, Surulere, Lagos. Wake keeping/Service of songs/Tribute Thursday July 7, 2016 Ojays, National Stadium, Surulere. 5pm. Funeral, Friday July 8, 2016 Laying in State at his Residence: #4, Gbaja str, Surulere, Lagos. 7am – 8am Service at Redeemed  Christian Church of God, Grace Chapel #129, Ogunlana Drive Surulere, Lagos. 9am. Burial at Ikoyi Cemetery, Ikoyi after service.
