The nominees for the 2016 edition of African Muzik Magazine (AFRIMMA) awards, have finally been announced. Top Nigerian acts like Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Davido , amongst others, have been nominated in the forthcoming third edition of the prestigious award which is set to hold in Texas, USA. The most talked about categories, ‘Best Male West Africa and Best Female West Africa’, has the likes of Wizkid, Davido, Olamide and Flavour battling it out, while pop queen  Tiwa Savage and mama Africa,  Yemi Alade, go head to head in the Best Female West Africa category. These categories, saw Davido and Yemi Alade, taking home the win last year. Award for the ‘Video Of The Year,’ has Flavour’s ‘Champion’,   Emma Nyra ‘s ‘For My Matter’, Phyno ‘s ‘Fada Fada’ and Korede Bello ‘s ‘Romantic’ on the category list while, the nominees for the artiste of the year has the likes of Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Flavour, on it. Guess, the era of filming people in the studio as evidence is finally upon us. Singer Emma Nyra, has been slammed with a song theft accusation following the release of ‘ Work Hard ‘ the lead single from her forthcoming EP, Love VS Money. Music producer, Samson Ohda known as OD Beats,  has accused the ‘For My Matter’ crooner of stealing her latest single, ‘Work Hard’ from him. According to the producer, he met a brick wall after finalizing work on the beat as Emma and her team refused to pay him for the work done. Releasing a statement and video clip of Emma’s studio session, OD Beat, further explained the situation.
